This page is under construction and constantly being updated. Please check back.

I've never played football before, can I still play for the Eagles?
Yes! We encourage new players especially in the younger age groups where our coaches can help develop and teach your young football player. Tackle football instills discipline, structure and hard work.

When does the season run?
The official tackle football practice starts July 5th. The regular season game schedule starts on August 14h and ends on October 23rd. The playoffs and AYFL Super Bowl could run until November 20th. During the month of May only, any early registration may participate in an optional conditioning camp for Coconut Creek Eagles early registrations only.

When are practices held?
The head coach will ultimately make the final decision with regards to practice schedule however most teams will practice M-F between 6:00PM - 8:30PM for approximately two hours. Most coaches/teams will take one practice day off when school begins. Practices will be at a Coconut Creek field depending on the team.

When are the games played?
All tackle football games are scheduled for Saturday's. Occasional makeup game due to weather could place a game on a different day. The game time schedule is always the same time. The Eagles have 7 weight divisions and they all play back to back beginning with the Pee Wee division at 9:00AM. Approximate start times for the other divisions are (9U - 10:30AM), (10U - 12:00PM), (11U - 1:30PM), (12U - 3:00PM), (13U - 5:00PM), (14U - 7:00PM). Your head coach will give you details.

Where are the games played?
The Eagles have a 11 game schedule plus possible playoff games. We have six home games at our home field at Sabal Pines Park. We also have five road games. In 2010, we will travel to Pembroke Pines, Cooper City, Ft. Lauderdale, Boca Raton and Northeast.

How much does it cost and can I pay payments?
The league registration fee is $190.00. There is a $10.00 sibling discount. Our program also provides away to recoup your registration fee. Our league will provide each player with $200 worth of $5 raffle tickets for our end of the year league raffle. You sell the tickets to friends and family and keep your funds. If you sell all of your tickets, your registration ends up being free. If you can't sell your tickets or choose not to sell your tickets, you can fill in your family's name on all the tickets and you would be eligible to win the cash raffle at the last home game of the year. Your registration fee of $190 includes these tickets.

In special circumstances, we will work out a simple non-interest payment plan. Ask for details.

Can I register online?
Registration is fast and easy. If you would like to register online, click here. We also provide three walk-in dates for registration (click here for walk-in dates). There is a $10 online registration fee. Mastercard and Visa are both accepted for payment

What documents are required to register?
New Eagles players only will need to turn in a copy of a birth certificate. You can register without this but we will need it by June 5th at Meet Your Coach Day. Parents will also need to show proof of residency or a copy of the City of Coconut Creek non-resident sports card. Current physical will be required prior to first practice. Returning Eagles players from last year will not need BC.

Is there a fee for equipment and uniform?
No, all equipment necessary will be provided for you. You will be required to return everything except game jersey which you will keep.

I am away until August, can I still register?
Tackle football practice/tryouts begin July 5th and it is hard for most children to fall behind over a month. However if your child has tackle football experience, you should talk to the specific coach about their policy.

Can my child move up or down in divisions?
No, The league will assign all players to a team based on age and weight.

Is my child guaranteed a spot on the team?
Beginning July 5th, the first two weeks of practice is generally considered tryouts. If a coach feels your child could get hurt or is a discipline problem or more than the maximum allowed per team - then your child could be cut. Besides a discipline issue, cuts (if any) are usually only during the first two weeks

What if my child is cut from the team - will I get a refund?
Yes, All cuts will receive refund minus a small administration fee.

Is my child guaranteed playing time?
No, The head coach ultimately decides playing time. The coaches will work with your child in practice to get them better prepared for game day. Tackle Football is a physical, competitive sport and game day playing time is NOT mandatory.
