Bill
Williams, former National League Umpire for over 25
years was very instrumental in the founding and the
running of Coconut Creek Football Program. The CCFP
was founded in 1997.
Before
the 1999 season, Bill Williams lost his battle with
cancer. The CCFP decided to name the annual Super Bowl
trophy, "The Bill Williams trophy".
This trophy, which is held in the trophy case inside
the Coconut Creek recreation complex, is a symbol of
how much Bill Williams meant to the community. Bill
was always available for the children of Coconut Creek.
Each year, one team from each division, will have their
teams name plate placed on the trophy.
