When does the season run?
The season runs from end of July to approximately November
7th
When are practices held?
Practices will be held at Coconut Creek facilities. Your
team coach will give you details. Max of 3 events (games & practices)
per week. Practices are about an hour in younger groups
and a max of 1.5 hours in older divisions.
When & Where are games & events held?
Schedules will be released by teams later but weeknight games
will never start earlier than 6pm and Saturday games scheduled
throughout the day for some divisions. We utilize all fields,
all days so team specific schedules will not be available
until your coach contacts you. A limited amount of events
may be held on Sunday's includin; but not limited to, Picture
Day and the end of the year Super Bowl & Awards. All
flag games are played at Sabal Pines Park and George Gerber
Park. It is possible other locations in Coconut Creek could
be utilized.
How much does it cost?
Coconut Creek residents fee is $85. Siblings receive a $10
discount. Each child will receive a game uniform jersey,
game uniform shorts, practice t-shirt, mouthpiece and a
trophy.
Can I register online?
Registration is fast and easy. If you would like to register online, click
here. We also provide three walk-in dates
for registration (click here for walk-in dates). There
is a $10 online registration fee. Mastercard and Visa are both
accepted for payment
What documents are required to register?
New players will need a birth certificate. Parents will also
need to show proof of residency or a copy of the City of
Coconut Creek non-resident sports card.
Can my child move up or down in divisions?
No, All divisions are assigned by age. There are no exceptions
Can I request to be on the same team as my neighbor or pick
my coach?
No, All divisions except PW division are done by draft and
requests are not granted.
How do I become a coach, team mom, sponsor or volunteer?
Please choose this in the online registration or walk-in
registration process.
What is flag ratings?
All divisions except PW division have flag ratings on June
5th. All of the coaches are present and each flag player
will do a few very basic drills. The actual rating takes
5-10 minutes. Soon after this date, all divisions have
a draft with just coaches and the teams will be selected.
How much will my child play?
There is a 50% rule in flag which means every child will
play a minimum of 50% of the game.
Meet Your Coach
At a date to be announced, sometime in early July will be
Meet Your Coach. This will be posted on www.creekfootball.com.
This is just a day at the park where players and parents
can meet their coach, receive team info and get the year
started.
